The weather forecast for tomorrow is outstanding! It will be in the mid-60s at the start and will warm up into the low-70s throughout the race.
On race morning please allow time to get your kayak to Daniel Boone Park and setup your bike on the Boulevard near Magic Island before our pre-race briefing at 8:30 am.

Slight Course Change & Packet Pick-Up

We have a slight change to this year's course. Do to construction activities and uneven road surfaces on Kanawha Boulevard past the 35th Street Bridge we will be turning bikers around at Veazey Street instead of the Moose Lodge parking lot. Cyclists will make three loops of the course from Magic Island to Veazey Street and back. A road mat provided by Tri-State Racer will track participants to make sure they complete all three loops. Any participant that fails to finish three loops will NOT be eligible for race trophies and will be listed as a DNF (Did Not Finish).

Also, the packet pick-up will take place Friday evening from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Civic Center. We will have tables either outside the double doors or just inside them. Please stop by and get your packet with t-shirt and race bib. Ask us any questions you may have about race day. We are very excited to be entering our sixth year of this event, and we hope you are too. Get in those last minute registrations if you have not already.
See you soon!

Race Course

We are aware of potential maintenance issues on Kanawha Boulevard past the 35th Street Bridge. Our race director has been in contact with the authorities to assess the situation. If that portion of the course becomes unavailable for any reason, we have alternate plans for the bike route that will maintain the stated 16.8 mile distance from previous years.
