Race pictures can now be viewed on our Facebook page. Follow this link to view them. Take a minute and pick out your photos. You can tag yourself and have the pictures appear on your wall and/or right click and save them to your computer for free. Enjoy!

Race Day!

Congratulations to everyone who participated in the 2012 Capital City Challenge! Tri State Racer has the results posted on their website. You can see them here. Also, thank you to all our volunteers who made this race possible. We have grown in size each year and are hoping to keep that trend going into 2013. Please leave any comments, concerns, or suggestions on our website or put a post on our Facebook wall.

Packet Pickup

Please note that you can pickup your race packets at the Civic Center in front of the Convention and Visitor's Bureau tonight form 4 pm to 7 pm. Alternatively, you may get your packets after 7:30 am, race morning on Kanawha Boulevard near the starting line.

Again, thank you for registering and have a great race. We should be 200+ strong on Saturday morning, and the weather is looking lovely. Work hard tomorrow morning and stay around for food and festivities on Magic Island.

It's Race Week!

Today is the deadline for registering. Get your applications in using Paypal on our 'Registration' tab.
If you have not submitted all of your participant information (name, age, sex, shirt size), please send Steve Hewitt (the race director) or me an email. We can be reached at: shewitt@starusafcu.com or mharmon08@gmail.com. If you registered through Living Social but did not submit your information to us. You can still do so by using the form on this website. Click on the 'Living Social Registration' page to do that.

Once you have registered, you can pick up your race packet on Friday evening at the Civic Center from 4 pm to 7 pm. We will be stationed in front of the Convention and Visitor's Bureau.

Registration Deadline

Please note that you can continue to register through September 10th. The bottom of the registration form mistakenly had September 5th as the deadline. So if you're on the fence about signing up, there is still time to join us for this year's event.

Registration Price Increase

There is only one week left to register for this year's event at the normal rate of $45 for individual participants, $80 for a team of two, or $120 for a team of three. Rates will increase by $10 after August 31st, so be sure to commit before then.

Door Prize

We are pleased to reveal one of the door prizes that will be given away after this year's race. Cabella's has donated a Spitfire 8 Emotion kayak. Be sure to stick around after the event for a chance at this and other great giveaways.

Living Social Deal

The Capital City Challenge is running a deal with Living Social for the next three days. If you are a solo registrant who paid through Living Social, please fill out the form in the tab labeled "Living Social Registration" to complete the process. Team registration is available for half-off on our website from August 8-10.

If you register now for the Capital City Challenge you can get a two month membership for just $42 per month, half off a security key ($24.50), and a one hour fitness consultation with a personal trainer.
